Review: Jin Korean BBQ

Jin Korean BBQ

3420 K Ave #200, Plano, TX 75074

(972) 312-9979

When was the last time you get the sensation of "this is it, this is the best of the best, this is heaven"? Jin Korean BBQ is the crown jewel of all Korean BBQ on this planet earth. Why you ask? Because they are cheapest, most delicious, and no old Korean ladies look over your shoulder to rush you and to tell you what you're doing wrong and gossip about you with their friend. It has a very nice atmosphere, and it is absolutely do it yourself!!! No more having to keep asking people to bring you meat (and they will reply "I don't think you can finish them all get something else").

Lunch $14.99/person Dinner $19.99/person for AYCE Korean BBQ!!!??? Are you kidding me!? So amazingly cheap compared to everywhere else. You might think "oh, it's cheaper than everywhere else so that means their quality is also lower." NO!!!! I assure you that with this price you will also get the best quality!

Very beautiful ambiance.

That light switch right there is used when you need to call your waiter.

Meats are well marinated and absolutely delicious! No dipping sauce needed.

Their hot foods are also very delicious, in fact, they are better than most places even though this is buffet hot food!!!

I absolutely adore their concept of do-it-yourself. From going to get the food yourself to grilling them yourself, it's so much better when you are with your friends and just having a good time without people coming over to bother you all the time and keep rushing you to get out so they can get new customers. The staff is so great because they will leave you alone unless you switch on the light to call them or your grill starts to smoke and needs to be changed. The additional items with no extra charge, such as LA Ribs, are also sensational!

The waiter will keep an eye on your grill from far away so that it won't bother you, and will promptly change to a new one right away when it starts to smoke.

This is sik-hye, the sweet rice ginger drink to finish your journey. It will help you digest after a large meal and make you feel refreshed.

Jin Korean BBQ is the avatar of all of Dallas Korean BBQ. Cheap, clean, delicious, and awesome service. Every item is delicious. It will one of your best memories.

Review: Paik’s Noodle

Paik’s Noodle

2625 Old Denton Rd

Carrollton, TX 75007

When talking about perfect restaurant, this is the place: Paik's Noodle! From the moment you walk in you will be greeted by one of the nicest people in the hospitality universe, If it is your first time, she will gladly walk you through what they have to offer and what to order.

The restaurant is spotlessly clean. Also, you can see inside the kitchen through the window, allowing you to see how the cooks prepare your food and how professional and sanitized they are. And they have to be because you are watching, so cleanliness for this restaurant is a gold star.

I always talk about how every restaurant water MUST be filtered, so  one of my favorite functions in this restaurant is that they have a water filtering system called Coway water filtration system installed in their restaurant and it is guaranteed that your water is nice, cold and clean!

Paik's Noodle is the type of restaurant that you go up to the counter and order. There are no servers you have the self service area, where they provide daikon (pickled radish), utensils, napkins, condiments, and sparebowls and plates.

Left is Bokkeummyeon (Stir-Fried noodles with seafood, pork and vegetables). Think Japanese Yakisoba! Right is Jajangmyeon (Noodle with black bean sauce) One of the best place that made perfect black bean sauce!

There are only 6 items to order from the menu.... yes, I said SIX!!! Rather small menu, but because they only doing six dishes all day, they have perfected the technique of making these six divine dishes to their finest! Six dishes are: Bokkeummyeon, Jajangmyeon, Jajangbap, Tangsuyuk, Jjamppong and Jjamppongbap.

Bokkeummyeon!

This one is lightly coated deep fried pork Tangsuyuk! With sweet and sour sauce and honey. It was really good, just a bit too sweet for me; I would rather told them to go easy on honey, then it will be perfect!

And this is the superstar of the show the famous Jajangbap! Why? Because you get JJamppong soup and omelette and Jajang sauce in one order for just 7$! Oh yes, this restaurant is incredibly cheap and the portions are enormous!

Jjamppong is Korean noodles with seafood, pork and vegetables in a spicy broth. If you like things a

little more spicy!

So bottom line is, Paik's Noodle is the perfect restaurant because of their exceptionally pleasant service, cheap food, big portions, sensational taste and texture, spotlessly clean restaurant and it is perfect place for serious eaters!

Review: Iron Age Asian Grill

Hello there, good to see you again!

Iron Age Asian Grill

1054 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852

A very Unique style of authentic Korean BBQ that will blow your mind!

Iron Age Asian Grill is probably the best, and most authentic Korean BBQ styled restaurant that you will ever find in the east coast. I've been to so many restaurants like this, even in my home town in Thailand (we have Moo Kata, or open grilled pork which is sensational), but this place just as easily surpasses them, without a doubt. The best part is that they are buffet style, so it's all you can eat!!! You can order meat for unlimited amount for as low as $20 per person; it can't get any better!

Let me show you the ultimate feast for all you can eat for just $20!!!!!

As you might know, Korean food is about side dishes. Iron Age Asian Grill side dishes are absolutely delicious. The Korean styled mashed potatoes will steal your heart and the pickled radishes are just too good! Also, the dressing for salad is a phenomenon.

As you can see, there are house sauces that come with the meat. The pictures above are pork belly. To be completely honest, I don't like the pork belly so much. But don't be disappointed yet! I would recommend you to skip pork belly and.......

Behold the best beef you will ever experience!!!! Korean Bulgogi beef with house marination: the absolute mouth watering and super delicious sensation of Korean cuisine. The crown jewel of all grilled meat. The taste of oriental marination and the scent of the spirit of Korean food. I would recommend you to order tons of this meat; you will die happy.

In $20 course comes with soft serve which is also very very delicious.

Good news for people who lives close to Ellicott City, MD

They will opening a new one soon!

Verdict

9/10

I have to take away 1 point just because of the pork belly. But overall, it's the best Korean food I've ever experienced!
