Review: Paik’s Noodle

Paik’s Noodle

2625 Old Denton Rd

Carrollton, TX 75007

When talking about perfect restaurant, this is the place: Paik's Noodle! From the moment you walk in you will be greeted by one of the nicest people in the hospitality universe, If it is your first time, she will gladly walk you through what they have to offer and what to order.

The restaurant is spotlessly clean. Also, you can see inside the kitchen through the window, allowing you to see how the cooks prepare your food and how professional and sanitized they are. And they have to be because you are watching, so cleanliness for this restaurant is a gold star.

I always talk about how every restaurant water MUST be filtered, so  one of my favorite functions in this restaurant is that they have a water filtering system called Coway water filtration system installed in their restaurant and it is guaranteed that your water is nice, cold and clean!

Paik's Noodle is the type of restaurant that you go up to the counter and order. There are no servers you have the self service area, where they provide daikon (pickled radish), utensils, napkins, condiments, and sparebowls and plates.

Left is Bokkeummyeon (Stir-Fried noodles with seafood, pork and vegetables). Think Japanese Yakisoba! Right is Jajangmyeon (Noodle with black bean sauce) One of the best place that made perfect black bean sauce!

There are only 6 items to order from the menu.... yes, I said SIX!!! Rather small menu, but because they only doing six dishes all day, they have perfected the technique of making these six divine dishes to their finest! Six dishes are: Bokkeummyeon, Jajangmyeon, Jajangbap, Tangsuyuk, Jjamppong and Jjamppongbap.

Bokkeummyeon!

This one is lightly coated deep fried pork Tangsuyuk! With sweet and sour sauce and honey. It was really good, just a bit too sweet for me; I would rather told them to go easy on honey, then it will be perfect!

And this is the superstar of the show the famous Jajangbap! Why? Because you get JJamppong soup and omelette and Jajang sauce in one order for just 7$! Oh yes, this restaurant is incredibly cheap and the portions are enormous!

Jjamppong is Korean noodles with seafood, pork and vegetables in a spicy broth. If you like things a

little more spicy!

So bottom line is, Paik's Noodle is the perfect restaurant because of their exceptionally pleasant service, cheap food, big portions, sensational taste and texture, spotlessly clean restaurant and it is perfect place for serious eaters!
